Domestic Shipping - Paper Prints & Rolled Canvas Prints

Shipping for paper prints and rolled canvas is free worldwide.

Please allow 2 weeks for your custom-made print to be shipped. You will receive a tracking number from our shipping agent within this time frame.  

We understand that it is very tempting, but please resist the urge to open your print immediately. Ensure that the print packaging is only opened by a professional framer, as the prints are delicate and may be damaged by mishandling. Framing advice and care instructions will be shipped together with your print. 


Domestic Shipping - Framed Prints & Stretched Canvas Prints

If your print is being framed please allow 4 weeks as all prints and frames are custom made with love. You will receive a tracking number from our shipping agent within this time frame. Framed works are wrapped by couriers in bubble wrap and cardboard to ensure their safe arrival.


Domestic Shipping - Original Paintings

Shipping charges depend on the individual size and weight of the painting and destination.

Please contact us directly at info@laurenraso.com to receive your quote for shipping.

Your new painting will be sent within 5-7 business days; and delivered within fourteen (14) business days (please allow longer for rural areas). An email will be sent to you about the shipping of the artwork.

International shipping is available for framed prints, stretched canvas and original paintings.

Shipping charges depend on the individual size and weight of the painting and destination.

As a general guide, shipping from Australia to most major cities in the USA and Europe usually takes 5 - 20 business days depending on whether I use a courier service used.

The purchaser will be responsible for all the international custom and import fees and taxes which vary with every country.

Please check with your country's customs offices and consider the additional costs that might be involved.


AUTHORITY TO LEAVE TERMS & CONDITIONS

By giving the delivery service "Authority to Leave" your parcel will be left at your unattended premises as per your instructions.

You agree that the parcel is deemed received when left at your premises and Sarina Diakos Art and the courier service do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage which may result after. You agree to release Sarina Diakos Art against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, and expenses, including consequential losses, suffered or incurred by you or any other person as a result of this Authority to Leave.

RETURNS POLICY

PRINTS AND ORIGINAL ARTWORKS RETURNS POLICY

Due to the sensitive nature of transporting art, returns and exchanges are not offered on prints or original works of art simply for change of mind.

All artwork is handled with the utmost care during the printing and packaging process. In the unlikely circumstance of your delivery being damaged in transit, please photograph the packaging PRIOR to opening the delivery and then photograph the damaged art inside.

Send images of damaged packaging and art and I will replace your print with an identical one.

For originals or small originals that are damaged during transit, I will replace it with a commission.

LOSS OR DAMAGE THROUGH SHIPPING

As soon as I send your order I will advise you by email and give you the tracking details and an expected delivery date. Buyers are responsible for shipments once they enter the postal system and I'm not responsible for delays, damage or loss during shipping but I will work with you in an attempt to resolve the situation.

Please check your delivery address and make sure your artwork can be delivered safely at your end. If you can't be sure of this please add the insurance option to your order as I hold no responsibly for lost or stolen orders at the delivery point.

On rare occasions damage can occur through handling by the shipping agencies, especially on long international routes. Items can also be lost or stolen at the delivery point. If you follow all of the procedures below, you will have a much better chance of follow up action with the shipping company. 

  1. Do not permit the courier to leave your parcel unattended if you're not there to personally receive it.

  2. If you can't be there to receive your order, please arrange to pick up the parcel in person from the shipping depot or an official hub..

  3. Before accepting and signing for the shipment, please check the outside packaging for damage.

  4. If there's any sign of damage either (a) refuse delivery or (b) open the package in the presence of the delivery person and check the contents in front of them.

  5. If the artwork inside is damaged, refuse the delivery and take photos for evidence.

  6. Report immediately and take the evidence and photos within 7 days to the shipping company's local office to lodge the necessary forms.

If these responsibilities are not met at your end, I will be unable to assist you. 

Please be understanding when contacting me about loss or damage during transit as I have no control over the treatment of your package by the post office or the shipping service. It is just as distressing for me to know your print or painting has been damaged, lost or stolen as it is for you.

OTHER SHIPPING EVENTS

If your order is returned to me by the postal delivery service due to you giving me an incorrect address, your refusal to pay customs fees, your refusal to accept the order or because no one was home to accept delivery, the following will apply:-

  1. when the postal system returns the unclaimed, unwanted or refused order, the cost of the order will be refunded less a 25% handling fee

  2. for orders that include free shipping, orders will be refunded less the actual cost to ship the original order

  3. original shipping charges are non-refundable

COLOUR ACCURACY

When selecting prints and paintings please note that all computer monitors will show colours a little differently and there may be a slight variation from the colours you see on your screen to the actual version. If you are in doubt, please check the colours on multiple monitors to make sure before purchasing. I do my best to represent the colours and tones in my work honestly and clearly so if you have any concerns or questions about colour clarification, please contact me first through the contact form or email at info@laurenraso.com
